Logo Design

We started with a minimalistic, rounded symbol on the left and gradually progressed to something less abstract. Our goal was to stay within the narrative while combining the imagery of a mountain with a financial chart that represents volume and an upward trend. This concept was inspired by mountain peaks and, in the financial world, bull markets and blow-off tops.

Token Logo Design

After several iterations, we came down to top 3 variants by vote. At the end we decided to incorporate the mountain concept into a lettermark. The curves of the letter "B" symbolize mountain peaks while also forming the first letter of the brand name.

Crazy 8s Technique

Crazy 8s is a rapid sketching exercise we often use in design sprints to generate a wide range of ideas. During this process, each team member sketches eight distinct ideas in eight minutes. The time constraint pushes us to unleash our creativity and think broadly, sparking innovative thinking and diverse solutions. This method sets a strong foundation for further refinement and development of our product.

After multiple iterations and refining low-fidelity wireframes, we developed a design system with both light and dark modes, and ultimately brought everything together. Below are some of the final design screens.

The Design System

The first step in any project is setting up the design system. Some elements, like icons, can be sourced from existing libraries, while others need to be custom-made. We ensure all components are responsive, with multiple variants, using variables and styles. This approach allows us to define dark (and light) modes in advance, so there's no need for separate designs—just a single click to switch modes.
