FIELD Programme identity

Visual identity for ‘FIELD Programme’ — consisting of a logo, colour palette and website banner. For this project I liaised with?Save The Children.

FIELD Programme is a new online learning programme to develop the pool of national and local staff who can prepare for and take charge of in-country responses to chronic and new emergencies to improve and save lives in the wake of disaster.

The main target audience was national staff with a few years of experience in humanitarian work. The identity needed to communicate a variety of USPs including: ‘global’, ‘inclusive’ and ‘collaborative’.

I decided to base the logo on the idea of how tectonic plates connect to each other, to symbolise people from all over the globe collaborating with each other. I also gave the logo a rugged, hand-drawn look to give it more of a human / Earth-y feel to it.
